This week in ELA we reviewing nouns, verbs, adjectives, inference, and drawing conclusions. In Math we are reviewing graphs. In Science we are learning about light and electricity. Our Rooted in Reading book this week is A Visitor for Bear. We will be working on all sorts of reading, writing, grammar, and art activities around this book all week long. We are still watching our Kentucky Runner Beans grow and finishing up our plant life cycle lap books. Our SEL activities this week center around the concepts of imagination and how to be kind.
No homework this week!
In closing, please remember that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Just a refresher on our illness policy: If your child is sick, he or she must be fever free and free of vomiting for 24 hours before they may return to school. Thanks!
Have a great week!
