Hello again,
Please remember to mark Thursday, November 2nd as an IS day on your calendar, the entire Creekside staff will be having professional development on 11/2 and 11/3. Thank you! Jenny Hello Creekside Families,
Thank you all for coming to our Fall Conferences and spending time with me talking about your wonderful children. I hope you were able to tell how much I enjoy teaching them and how much I care about them. I'm a lucky teacher! :) I just wanted to touch base again with you on the school Halloween policies. Students are welcome to come to school in costume and wearing face paint but there are no masks or weapons (or toy weapons) allowed on campus for safety issues. Students should also not bring candy to school. Thank you for your cooperation! On Tuesday, October 31st there will be a Halloween parade around our campus and over to OVI beginning on campus at 8:35. After the parade we will take a class photo of the kids in costume which the kids love to do. Parents are welcome to stay after drop off and enjoy the parade. The kids are super cute! We will be having a class Halloween party in the afternoon. If you are able, please send in a healthy snack to share with the class. Thanks! We will be making Stone Soup in our class next Wednesday, November 1st. If you can, please send in an item for our pot by that morning at the latest. By Tuesday would be even better so I can prep things at home the night before! Ex- a potato, a can of veggie or chicken broth, an onion, a can of corn, some celery, peas, beans, carrots, etc…We don't need much from each child as the point of the story is about how if everyone gives a little, a lot can be done. The kids are really excited for this activity! :) In closing, I wanted to thank you all in advance for your support of our annual fund. The funds you donate help up purchase new curriculum, fund professional development, and provide more opportunities for our students. Have a wonderful weekend! Jenny Hello Creekside Families,

The PTO has set up an assembly for Monday, Oct 23rd from 9 - 9:50 at Bar One in the O House over at Squaw. The students will see a Native American Dancer and Storyteller who will give a performance and presentation about Native American culture. We will be leaving campus to walk over to the Village at 8:50. If your child is late to school, please sign them in with Miss Lynn in the office to ensure that they aren't left unsupervised on campus. Thank you. Just a reminder that all next week, students should be picked up at 12:15 as we have scheduled half days for our Fall Conferences. If you haven't already signed up for a conference, you are welcome to stop by Monday morning to sign up on the classroom door, there are still spots available. Thanks! Have a wonderful weekend! Jenny Hello Creekside Families,
