Please be sure to send in a small item from nature for the big art project Robert is working on for our class art piece for the Gala. The item should be something that will not rot and about the size of an egg. We will be collecting all week and the items will not be returned. Some ideas....a pretty rock or shell, a pinecone, some moss, a cool stick, a dried flower, etc...
This week in ELA we are reading Bad Dog, Dodger!, learning about plot and theme, phonics, and fiction. In Math we learning how to understand tiling in rectangles and laying down the foundations for multiplication. In Science we are learning about Matter. Writing Prompt
What would it be like if your dog spoke to you, but only when there was nobody else around? What would the dog say and how would you prove he could talk? Please write 5-7 sentences with your best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you!
iReady Practice
Please login to i Ready. You should see a red button labeled, “start my lessons”. Please complete one Math and one Language Arts lesson. Thank you!
In closing, I'd also like to remind you that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Thanks so much!
Have a great week!
