Writing Assignment
This week we are reading Koala Lou, a story about a young Koala who competes in the Bush Olympics to make her mother proud.
Have you ever been in a competition? What was it? How did you prepare? Do you like competing? What do you think is the most important thing to remember when competing? Please write 5-7 sentences in your best handwriting. Thank you.
No iReady Lessons this week!
In closing, I'd also like to remind you that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Your student is welcome to bring slippers to keep in their cubby for when they come in from recess with damp shoes. Please be sure that your child brings a coat or jacket every day now that the snow is here. We go outside for every recess unless there is heavy rain. Just a refresher on our illness policy: If your child is sick, he or she must be fever free and free of vomiting for 24 hours before they may return to school. Thanks!
Have a great week!
Jenny
