Hello Creekside Families,
Please do NOT do iReady lessons this week! I forgot that the testing window has been opened and thus the lessons are not available. Should your child login at home, they would automatically be sent to the test. Our class is scheduled to begin next week and should NOT do the testing at home. I'm sorry for the confusion! Thanks! Jenny Hello Creekside Families,
Today is another Snow Day/IS day due to weather concerns. If you have not already done so, please text @ccf6ab to 81010 to sign up for Creekside Push messages on your phone. This is the fastest way to hear from Jeff about school emergencies, snow days, etc... The IS work for today is listed below. Please print it for your child and send the work in once we are back in class together. If you should lose power today or face any other challenges, you can always have your child read and work on math facts, simply document their work so that I can be sure they receive academic credit for today. Jenny Office hours on Friday- No School on Monday for MLK Day- Regular classes resume on Tuesday.1/12/2017
Hello Creekside Families,
Weather permitting, staff will be onsite tomorrow. We have a faculty meeting in the morning but we will be in our classrooms setting up for next week should you need us. This is not a regular school day and students should not be dropped off at school! However, if there were questions about any of the IS work or if your student is struggling with a concept, this would be a good time to make an appointment to come by and get help. Just email me a time that would work for you and we can set something up. :) Office Hours are from 10-2:45. I do believe that tomorrow is the first day of Ski Enrichment and that most of the kids are signed up to participate. If you have any questions about enrichment, please contact Kirsten Rickenbach at [email protected]. See more contact information below: The Ski Enrichment Program this winter will start January 13th and run through March 31st; Fridays from 9:00 to 12:30 please fill out and return the forms to the PTO Enrichment Skiing box in the office if you are interested. All the necessary forms are attached, the cost of the program is $150, which can be paid either with a check, or through out PTO website. Link for paying: http://creeksidepto.org/product/ski-enrichment-2017/ Link for all forms: http://creeksidepto.org/winter-enrichment/ If you have any questions you can contact either: Kirsten Clark-Rickenbach [email protected] or Sarah Connolly ( Milner) [email protected] Please remember that there will be no school on Monday as we are closed for Martin Luther King Day. Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, January 17th. We have a new student joining us next week! I'm very excited to welcome Teodor to our class family! Have a great weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next week, I've really missed "my" kids! :) Jenny Please read the message from Jeff below:
Good Evening, I'm at school right now. First time I've been able to get here in 3 days. I'm aware that TTUSD cancelled school tomorrow, but I did want to point out that they have several campuses. We are independent of them and can make decisions based on our one campus. That said, I'm concerned about what I've found at school and two hours may not be enough time.
Weather permitting, I'll be asking our faculty to come in on Friday to have office hours/ help kids get caught up. Please take advantage of this time. I'm sorry the start of 2017 has not been school focused, but we will make up for it once we get back to work! Have a great evening, Jeff Hello Creekside Families,
