Please remember that the iReady Diagnostic testing window closes on October 9. Be sure to remind your kids that the test is adaptive, it will get harder and easier as it finds your child's level. You can also stop and restart the test at anytime if your child is starting to feel burned out. Thank you!

Writing Assignment
This week we continue to explore informational writing. Informational writing has a beginning that introduces the topic, a middle that tells facts and details about the topic, and an end that sums up the information. Please have your child write a paragraph about their school. They should write 4-6 sentences and use their best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you.
In closing, I'd also like to remind you that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Thanks so much!
Have a great week!
Miss Jenny
