Thank you to everyone who made it to our learning conference this morning! I appreciate you wading through the wet snow to get here. :) If you were unable to attend today's meeting, I need you to come in sometime this week and sign your paperwork so I can get it turned in to the office on time. Thank you!
This week in ELA we are learning about repetition and alliteration, informational text, and commas. In Math we are reviewing unit 2. In Science we are studying oceans and ponds. In Social Studies we are learning about the Earth. In Health we are learning about fire emergencies.

stewWriting Prompt
This week we are beginning our writing unit on Writing to Inform: Lab Report. Informational Writing has a beginning that introduces the topic, a middle that tells facts and details about the topic and an end that sums up the information. Please have your child write an informational paragraph about how to play their favorite sport. It should be at least 6 sentences in their best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you!
iReady Practice
Please login to iReady. You should see a red button labeled, “start my lessons”. Please complete one Math and one Language Arts lesson. Thank you!
In closing, I'd also like to remind you that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Thanks so much!
Have a great week!
Miss Jenny
