Writing Prompt
The theme of Unit 3 is “What does it mean to be creative?”. The question of the week is “Where do creative ideas come from?”. In A Weed is a Flower, we learn about the life of George Washington Carver, a creative inventor. Please help your child think about where we get our creative ideas. Now have them write a short biography about someone who had a creative idea. Please have your child write 4-6 sentences and use their best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you.
In closing, I'd also like to remind you that students should be appropriately dressed for the weather and that ALL students need to have a water bottle to keep at school as we do not have cups to offer them should they be thirsty. If your child needs sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school. Thanks so much!
Have a great week!
Miss Jenny
