Thank you to those who were able to make it to the LP3 conference this morning! If you were unable to make it today, please email me to reschedule a time this week. I need you to sign the LP3 learning log and 2 permission slips ASAP. Thank you. This Thursday is a minimum day and next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are IS days followed by our Fall Break. IS packets will be sent home with your student on Thursday.
In other news, this Thursday is our school wide FALL FEAST at SVI. We will be walking over to SVI as a class at 11:45 am to meet up with all of you parents there. There will be NO pickups at school, only at SVI. The event begins at noon. Please be sure to read the Snippet for more information and to get the link to the Sign Up sheet for food to share. We have been asked by SVI to remind you that all children MUST stay with their parents in the conference room. We are unable to use the deck or other areas of the resort as those areas are being used for business by others. Children must stay with their families as the Creekside Staff is not to be supervising the students after 12. Thank you so much for your cooperation in this matter. We very much hope to see all our school families there!
This week in ELA we are reviewing Unit 2. In Math, we are reviewing Unit 2 and beginning to work with geometry and measurement. Please be sure to send a ruler to school for your child ASAP if you have not done so already. In Social Studies we are learning about Native Americans and Pilgrims. In Science we are studying animals.
Spelling List
This week we are reviewing all the spelling words from Unit 2. Please help your student practice these words for the spelling test on the Tuesday after Fall Break. Flash cards have proven very helpful. Thank you!

I hope you all have a wonderful week! As always, please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child every day as well as making sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. On snow days students must have snow boots, snow pants, gloves, and a jacket/coat in order to be able to play in the snow. Thank you!
