Today is another Snow Day/IS day due to weather concerns. If you have not already done so, please text @ccf6ab to 81010 to sign up for Creekside Push messages on your phone. This is the fastest way to hear from Jeff about school emergencies, snow days, etc... The IS work for today is listed below. Please print it for your child and send the work in once we are back in class together. If you should lose power today or face any other challenges, you can always have your child read and work on math facts, simply document their work so that I can be sure they receive academic credit for today. Thank you!
IS for Monday, January 23rd
English (Reading) p.310- 311
English (Grammar) Capitalization & Punctuation worksheets (These are very short!)
Math p.176-177, also the Estimating Length worksheet 1 (This very short!)
Also, please have your student read for at least 20 minutes and have them write the author, title, and a brief summary of the story in their best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you!
I hope you are all staying safe and warm up there! We have snow on the ground here in Grass Valley which is pretty unusual for us but the dogs are loving it!
Take care!
Jenny
