Today is a snow day/IS day for Creekside! Please go to ParentSquare to download the IS work for today. As always, students should also complete their daily 20 minutes of reading. There are two short reading comprehension activities and four math pages. (Please note the math pages are measurement activities and will not take long to complete.) If you would like additional practice for your student, today would also be a great day for your child to work on their online iReady lessons. Thank you!
In the event that you lose power or cannot access the internet during the storm (or if you do not have a printer at home), please have your child read for at least 20 minutes and write a paragraph about what they read. Students can also help you cook, a great way to practice measurement, fractions, and other math skills! They can also write stories, play board games, do a science project, etc... Please be sure to log any IS work that your student may work on and send it in on Tuesday. There is no school on Monday as we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
I hope that you all stay safe and warm today. Have a great day!
Jenny
