Just a reminder that all students should come to school prepared to play in the snow at recess. All students should have snow boots, snow pants, a jacket/coat, gloves, hat, and sunglasses. If your student needs sunscreen, please apply that at home before coming to school. Thank you!
This week in ELA we working on writing informational text, setting, characters, character traits, and collective nouns. In Math we are solving word problems involving money. In Science we are learning about the Solar System. In Social Studies we are learning about the United States Government. In Health we are learning about changes. Our Rooted in Reading book this week is That's What Leprechauns Do. We will be working on all sorts of reading, writing, grammar, and art activities around this all week long. We are also working on our Town Builder Social Studies activities and will be starting our next PBL (project based learning) unit entitled Earth Day Invention.

Writing Assignment
Imagine that one day you sat down to lunch like usual and found yourself across the table from a leprechaun! What does the tiny, green man tell you about his life, Ireland, and all his gold? Your story should have a beginning, middle, and an end. Write at least 6 sentences and use your best handwriting on lined paper. Thank you.
